The Northern New Jersey Traumatic Brain Injury Model System (NNJTBIS) has been designated as a NIDILRR TBI Model System Center continuously since 2007. The NNJTBIS includes a premier rehabilitation research facility, Kessler Foundation (KF), top-ranked inpatient rehabilitation hospital (Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation) and 4 trauma centers (University Hospital, Morristown Medical Center, Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center) with the goal of improving the quality of life of individuals with TBI.
