The University of Washington (UW) Regional Burn Center in Seattle, Washington is the site for the Northwest Regional Burn Model System (NWRBMS). This burn center is located at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, serving the people of the Pacific Northwest to include Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WAMI region). Harborview is a designated Level I General, Pediatric, and Rehabilitation Trauma Center institution. The NWRBMS (formerly the UW-Burn Injury Model System) has been a funded Burn Model System institution since 1993, with Dr. Barclay Stewart as the current project director of the NWRBMS. Collaborating team members include Dr. Tam N. Pham, Dr. Shelley Weichman, Dr. Alice Ellyson, Caitlin Orton, MPH, Maiya Pacleb, Stephen Sibbett BA, and Gretchen Carrougher MN, RN.
