The LTF-NDS study is a prospective, longitudinal design. The target population of this LTF-NDS clearly relates to the NIDRR priority. The existing BMS database tracks and evaluates individuals through 2 years follow-up. This baseline data includes a comprehensive core BMS-NDSC dataset. The proposed LTF-NDS study will use these prospectively gathered baseline data to conduct follow-up assessments on successive waves of participants who are 5 or 10 years out from their injury.
