Abstract:
Animal studies have suggested that statin drugs may have neuroprotective effects. Since these are among the few drugs that may be on board at the time of a TBI, this effect might be seen in humans. This study explores the feasibility of conducting an observational study of statin-exposed vs. non-statin-exposed patients and whether they differ in outcome.
