Abstract:
Study evaluated the interrater reliability of the International Association for the Study of Pain and Tunks' spinal cord injury (SCI) pain classification schemes. Three raters independently categorized a total of 64 pain sites reported by 29 individuals with SCI. Results indicated that both classification schemes showed low interrater agreement. Disagreement between the 3 raters was found for about 50 to 70 percent of the pain sites classified.
