Dr. Meade is a Professor with tenure in the U-M Departments of PM&R and Family Medicine, a practicing rehabilitation psychologist, and Co-Director of the U-M Center for Disability Health and Wellness. Her research expertise is in the areas of healthcare disparities, health self-management, and employment of individuals with physical disabilities. She is currently on the board of the grass-roots organization Warriors on Wheels of Metropolitan Detroit and formerly served as President of the SCI Association of Virginia and as a Taskforce Member for State Plans for the Health Promotion of Individuals with Disabilities in both Virginia and Michigan.
