Discusses the possible role of somatization in the maintenance of symptoms in mild traumatic brain injury (TBI), such as postconcussion syndrome. Presents concepts that propose that psychosocial factors such as expectancy and attribution may contribute to the development and continuation of symptoms in these exceptional cases.
