Article focuses on the first ‘‘A’’ in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). That first ‘‘A’’ in the ADA’s law and policy framework is to apply to all qualified individuals with disabilities residing, working, recreating, using the web, and engaged in daily life activities with private and public organizations in the United States. The author uses the first ‘‘A’’ in the ADA as a starting point to consider 25 other such ‘‘A’’s as being important to understanding the past and useful for framing future action in disability rights.
