Abstract:

Article presents the consensus-based recommendations identified by the Employment and Economic Self-Sufficiency Strand of the National Goals 2015 Conference. The recommendations provide direction on research goals to advance policy and practice related to improving employment and economic self-sufficiency of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A discussion of the implications of the findings is also provided, including the need for advocacy to advance the goals.
