Abstract:

Article describing a movement retraining program for persons with neurological disability that uses computer-assisted exercise to reduce therapist treatment time. Data are from records kept by a physical therapist on the use of the Rehabilitation Workstation with two persons with traumatic brain injury (TBI). The article describes the Rehabilitation Workstation and provides a detailed description of the role of the physical therapist in patient positioning, data collection, preparing parameter files, working with the Workstation developer to improve the Workstation, and determining treatment goals for each client.
