TWIST: Treatment With Sumatriptan for TBI Headache (Sumatriptan as Treatment for Moderate to Severe Post-Traumatic Headache)

Abstract:

This study is investigating whether treatment with Sumatriptan is effective in treating post-traumatic headache pain in people who have had a mild, moderate or severe TBI. Sumatriptan has been FDA approved since 1991 and can be prescribed to treat migraine headache in the general population. This study will also look at the viability of using an online headache tracker with the TBI population.
