Types of treatments received by patients with SCI for upper extremity pain and the benefits of these treatments were also identified. Data are from 130 responses to a questionnaire mailed to 170 persons with SCI. It was found that the majority of respondents had upper extremity pain, and that this pain interfered with activities of daily living (ADL).
