Notes trends related to issues including: sex; race and ethnicity; age at time of injury; education level at time of injury; employment history at time of injury; arrest history of injured persons; and outcomes as measured by length of hospital stay at time of injury and the Functional Independence Measure (FIM). Discusses implications for SCI prevention programs.
