Abstract:

Article describes that impact of assistive technology (AT) on the employment status and quality of life of individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI). AT and computer adaptations can help people with SCI to compensate for functional limitations, overcome barrier to employability, enhance technical capacities and computer utilization, and improve the ability to compete for gainful competitive employment. Case studies illustrate the use of AT in the workplace.
