For the newly injured patient there is a lot of change of changes ahead. They will go through a grieving process they will go through the different stages of grieving; through anger, through depression. Eventually they’ll work through it; it could take a very long time. But will eventually come to terms with their loss of the use of their legs. And they will find a comfortable pattern of living for themselves.
