Rita G. Hamilton D.O. FAAPMR, is the Co-Director of the Baylor Scott & White Spinal Cord Injury Model System. She is Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation and Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center. She is the also Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program Director at BUMC. Dr. Hamilton is passionate about delivering lifelong medical and rehabilitative care to patients living with spinal cord injury and disease. She has been a physiatrist both treating spinal cord injury and engaging in SCI research for the past 25 years.
