Simon Driver, Ph.D., joined Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation as the new Director of Rehabilitation Research. Dr. Driver earned his doctorate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia in 2005 and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of North Texas between 2005-2011. He then worked as an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health at Oregon State University from 2011-2013. Dr. Driver’s research interest is focused on improving the health of individuals with mobility disabilities, with a specific emphasis in physical activity promotion.
