Dr. Zafonte is the President and Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, Research, and Education at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. He is also the Earle P. and Ida S. Charlton Professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School as well as Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. At Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and MGH program for Veterans, he directs the Brain Injury and the Warrior Health and Fitness programs, and is Principal Investigator of the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University.
