Thomas Bryce, MD, is a Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he joined the faculty in 1997 after completing a residency in Rehabilitation Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Bryce, who is board certified in PM&R, SCI Medicine, and in Pain Medicine, has served as the Medical Director for the SCI Program at Mount Sinai since 2001. He has received funding from the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, and the United Spinal Association. Dr. Bryce chairs the Steering Committee of the Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine and is on the editorial board of Topics in SCI Rehabilitation. He has also chaired the international multidisciplinary committee that developed the International SCI Pain Classification and has been an active participant in the development of the International SCI Pain Data Sets. He is a member of the Educational Committee of International Spinal Cord Society and the New York State SCI Research Board. He has published and lectured widely both nationally and internationally on various topics especially as related to SCI including pain and secondary complications.
