Dr. Wilmoth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neuropsychology, brain injury, and dementia. Dr. Wilmoth earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at UT Southwestern. Clinically, Dr. Wilmoth’s focus is conducting neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive and behavioral disorders. Her research activities focus on concussion and more severe traumatic brain injury, other acquired brain injuries such as stroke, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. She is an investigator in UT Southwestern’s Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute.
