Dr. Callender is a Research Investigator at Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation and has been involved with the North Texas Traumatic Brain Injury Model System since 2009. She received her doctorate in Epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Her research interests include violence with traumatic injuries, health disparities and healthcare access and utilization.
