Dr. Mark B. Powers is a licensed clinical psychologist and Research Center Director for Trauma Research at Baylor Scott & White Health. His research goal is to conduct clinical research to improve the quality of life among those impacted by trauma. Dr. Powers has over 160 publications and is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Dr. Powers received the 2019 D CEO magazine Excellence in Healthcare Award for Achievement in Medical Research. He now serves on the American Psychological Association National PTSD Treatment Guidelines Panel.
